Red Cross Flag
The Red Cross Flag is used as a logo by all organizations which are part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Article 7 of the 1864 Geneva Convention, defines the Red Cross as a protection symbol. Article 38 of the 1949 Geneva Convention reads “For the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field”.

Promo team First Aid
The Dutch Red Cross is using a promo team to show people how little they know of first aid. Two teams have to answer three questions with A,B and C answers. They have to push the wheelchairs to one of the sings with the right answer. The winner receives a First Aid card game. They also promote with a special band-aid the first aid app. for android en iphone.

15th Anniversary of SKIN
Since 1992, a platform for non-indigenous churches by initiative of the Moluccan, Surinamese and Indonesian churches. This grew over the years. Together Church in the Netherlands (SKIN), founded in 1997, is an independent national association of Christian migrant churches and religious communities in the Netherlands. There currently are 74 migrant churches and faith communities member, with a following of 65,000 members. And celebrated there 15th anniversary on october 13th.
